Is there an age limit to get into the festival?
Suffolk AME’s May Day Mayday Musical Festival is a family-friendly event. Children 12 and under will be admitted for free as General Admission (GA) guests at the gate, there is no need to secure a separate ticket when buying GA.

Kids are welcome, so are you allowed to bring strollers?
Yes, strollers are allowed.

Why are ticket prices so affordable?
As all net proceeds from this event are going toward charitable causes, we’re not organizing the May Day “Mayday” Festival for the money. We’re looking to support some worthwhile causes while celebrating the power of community and we are therefore happy to subsidize the cost of the ticket price as a way to encourage folks to come out and get to know their brothers and sisters in labor while enjoying some great food and drink, and the amazing live entertainment we’ve been able to secure.
Suffolk AME (SAME) members are proud to serve their communities each and every day. This is our opportunity to remind the public of who we are—we’re your friends, family members, and neighbors. We’re the S.A.M.E. as you and Suffolk works because we do.
